1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Aide, our websites, or any related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you are using the Services on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that company to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. The service
Aide is an AI support agent that connects to your helpdesk and documentation to resolve customer tickets automatically. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that negatively affect your use of the Services.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk.
4. Your data
You retain all rights to the data you connect to Aide, including helpdesk tickets, documentation, and customer conversations (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited license to process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Services. We do not sell Customer Data. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services. This includes attempting to gain unauthorized access, reverse engineering the Services, using the Services to send spam or unlawful content, interfering with other customers’ use, or using output from the Services to develop a competing product.
6. AI-generated responses
Aide generates responses automatically based on the content you connect. While we work to make responses accurate, AI output may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing escalation rules and configuring the Services appropriately for your use case. Aide is not a substitute for professional, legal, or medical advice.
7. Fees and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply at the start of your next billing cycle. You can cancel at any time, and your plan remains active until the end of the current period.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or the Services is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Services before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. Questions? Contact us at legal@aide.ai.
